Welcome to Modern Nanny Collective, a heart-led business rooted in empowering early communication, playful learning, and caregiver connection. My name is Ariana, and I’m an Independent Certified Instructor of the Baby Signs® Program—an evidence-based approach to helping babies communicate using simple, meaningful signs before they can speak.
The Baby Signs® Program
The Baby Signs® Program, developed by Dr. Linda Acredolo and Dr. Susan Goodwyn, is the leading baby sign language system designed specifically for hearing babies. Backed by over two decades of research funded by the National Institutes of Health, the program has been proven to reduce frustration, strengthen parent-child bonds, support early language development, and even boost IQ. It’s not American Sign Language (ASL), but rather a simplified system that blends easily into daily routines and is developmentally appropriate for infants and toddlers.
Classes and Workshops
All of my Baby Signs® classes are based on the award-winning research and curriculum developed by Drs. Linda Acredolo and Susan Goodwyn where you’ll learn how to introduce signs in playful, age-appropriate ways—through songs, games, and hands-on activities. Whether you’re a parent, nanny, or caregiver, these classes are designed to give you tools that make everyday communication easier and more joyful.
Through Modern Nanny Collective, I offer Baby Signs® classes both in-person and online, and sell curated materials at local events and workshops to help families continue signing at home. While my digital resources for caregivers are sold on Etsy, my Baby Signs® classes and workshop registration are all offered here.
